Telegraphic communication is interrupted, and no steamers arrive. We are, therefore, without news from the outer world, and have been so for some days. The sole subject of local thought or attention seems to be the subject of the sports and races, and the fact of that being so, in addition to the circumstance of no other subjects being suggested by the receipt of news from other parts, must be our excuse for publishing, for the present, a sheet so exclusively of a sporting character.
