Schooners —Louisa, Ada (on the spit) Steamers—John Penn, Bruce. The Bruce left llokitilia on Saturday morning and put in at Greymoutli. She left the latter port on Saturday night and called at Fox's, landing ten passengers and twelve tons of cargo. Shu came up under easy steam and arrived at the wharf at 9 a.m. yesterday. The Charles Edward left for Nelson on Saturday, and towed out at the same time both the Maid of Erin and the William and Julia, schooners, the former bound for Ilokitika, and the latter for the North Island. The bar was beautifully smooth, and the gallant little steamer took out both her charges in excellent style and without the least difficulty. The s.s. John Penn arrived at the wharf yesterday about 1 o'clock, bringing a failnumber of passengers. She left Greymoutli at 10 p.m., and called at Fox's and off' Charleston. At both places she landed passengers and at the latter she put ashore six tons of cargo.
