The paddlc-stcamcr Bruce, with a cargo and a large number of passengers on board, left at 1 p.m. yesterday for Hokitika, calling at Pox's aud Groymouth. The ketch Young America, which was outside on a fishing cruise, being unable to stem the current yesterday as she was too late or, tho tide, anchored just within the break on the South Spit, where she will await tho next favorable turn of tide. The paddlc-stcamcr Nelson left Hokitika on Tuesday morning at 5.45 p.m., find got to Groymouth soon after 11 a.m., and landed passengers and cargo. Left Groymouth at midnight, and crossed over bar in safety about 10 a.m. yesterday morning. She left for Nelson last night between 11 and 12 o'clock. She brought the Simonsen family, who gave an entertainment last evening.
