NEWSPAPERS. For places within the colony, the Australia Colonies and the United Kingdom, via Sn and Southampton, are chargeable with a r| ot one penny. Newspapers for the United Kingdom, y\ L anaina or Suez, one penny; nnd Marseille threepence each. In consequence of newspapers being fe qucntly posted in packages of more than on number, the same are detained at the Clm X ost-office, and attention is called to the fd lowing postal regulation : " Newspapers for transmission within tl colony shall bn posted in single numbers, put up that the date of publication may't readily seen. Packages of newspapers consisl mg of more than one number shall be treats as bookpackages.
