MASTERTON CATTLE FAIR.
The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-op. Distributing Co., Ltd., report on their annual cattle fair at Mastorton on Monday as follows:—We yarded 1115 head of cattle, 'comprising 100 3 and 4year bullocks, 500 2-yciar steers, 400 yearling steers and 100 fat cows and heifers. The sale, generally speaking, was a little easier than was anticipated, more especially in the grown cattle section. Two-year and yearling steers and heifers were in demand and sold readily to good competitioi. The entry of 100 fat cows and heifers sold at satisfactory prices.
