SOUTH AFRICAN SALES. JAPAN’S ACTIVITY. (Received Saturday, 9.55 ami.) CAPETOWN, Friday. The presence of three Japanese observers at the opening day of the wool sales indicates that Japan is a more active buyer on the Union market. A rumour is prevalent' that the bulk of the wool offered was bought by Japan and the remainder by Germany.
