Times, 3.38 3-5, 3.43, 3.42. WEBSTER’S SUSPENSION. F. Webster has obtained curtailment of his month’s suspension, which will enable him to ride Cabalist in the Epsom Handicap. Webster applied to the Victorian Racing Club for 'a remission of the last two days of his suspension, and the application was approved by the committee. Turoa Webster was suspended for a month for allowing his mount to interfere with other horses in the last race at the Caulfield races. TURF NOTES.
A London cable states that outbidding many celebrated turf personalities,, the Hon. Dorothy Paget, paying 15,000 guineas for a colt by Fairway from Golden Hair, created an English record auction price for a yearling, though H.H. the Aga Khan paid the National’ Stud £23,000 by private sale.
