THEFTS AT AMBERLEY

HOTELS RAIDED.

CHRISTCHURCH, Friday.

A thief raided the Railway and Crown Hotels at Amberley on Thursday, securing £6O from the safe of the Railway Hotel, and a small amount from the other establishment. At the time of the thefts the safe in the Railway Hotel was unlocked, the proprietor being out of the room for a few minutes. —(P.A.)
