• Beautiful weather continued for the' Dominion tournament this afternoon, and the grounds were in improved order. Honours in section A are in doubt as the result of Otago defeating Marlborough B. Canterbury and Eastern are certain to win sections B and C. The results of this afternoon’s play are as follow: — SECTION A. Otago beat Marlborough, 1/0. Southland drew with Ruahine, 1 all. Ashburton, a bye SECTION B. Auckland beat Wairarapa, 4/1. Canterbury beat Marlborough A, 9/2. SECTION C. Eastern Southland beat Wellington, ■7/0. Akitio beat Wanganui, 5/3. —(P.A.) TO-DAY’S RESULTS. BLENHEIM, This Day. Section play in the Dominion hockey tournament is concluding to-day in fine weather. This morning’s results are: —- SECTION B. Canterbury 4, Wairarapa 0. SECTION C. Eastern Southland 6, Akitio 1. Canterbury and Eastern are thus the respective section winners.—(P.A.)
