CHRISTMAS CHEER. To provide a. few extra comforts at Christmas time for the 577 lepers isolated at Makogai, Fiji, cash, donations amounting to £lsl are givpfjcqllv acknowledged by Mr P. J. •vomey, of the Christchurch Gas Co. ™ Mr Twomey acknowledges' all gifts of money or goods by personal letter. Parcels sent by Post Office for the lepers are now charged at half rates.
