STOLEN GOODS

GUILT ADMITTED,

AUCKLAND, Monday.

Admitting in the Auckland Magistrate’s Court to-day that he had stolen goods valued at £217 from the firm of outfitters by whom lie was employed, John Burns, aged 29, a window dresser, alleged that he had carried out the thefts at the suggestion of another man. He was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.

Arthur Ernest Tapp, aged 44, a billiard marker, charged with receiving goods valued at £lB from John Burns, knowing them to have been dishonestly obtained, was remanded till Thursday.—(P.A.)
