MOTOR ACCIDENT
WOMAN DIES FROM INJURIES. INVERCARGILL, Friday. At 10 o’clock this morning, Mrs Margaret Potts, aged 39, of Mauarewa, was crossing Dee Street, Invercargill, from the west side to the east, when she walked into the side, of a motor lorry being driven in a northerly direction. It was snowing at the time, and she had her head down. She fell back on her head on the bitumen and fractured her skull.
She was admitted to the Southland Hospital, where she died this evening. -(P.A.)
