ABYSSINIAN CLAIM

Unrest is reported among Italian soldiers and workers at Massawa, who are demanding repatriation to Italy. ATTACK ON CAPITAL. ITALIANS CLAIM REPULSE. (Received Saturday, 9'.55 a.m.) ADDIS ABABA, Friday. An Italian communique announces that Abyssinian bands attacked Addis Ababa on Wednesday, hoping that the population would rise. On the contrary, it remained calm, and even helped to repulse the attackers ,wko retired with heavy losses, aeroplanes assisting in routing them. The Italian losses were negligible. Local reports state that the attackers were led by Ras Kassa, who, it is believed, was Avounded,-but another report says that the raiders were led by Ras Kassa’s son, not by Ras Kassa.
