WAIRARAPA DRAMA LEAGUE
FOURTH ANNUAL FESTIVAL. All who take a real interest in amateur drama in Masterton are taking advantage of the'season ticket offei foi festival this coming week. Booking is free at Mr Vivian Joseph’s and the box plan is filling up well. There are three junior plays being presented for the festival. The one on Tuesday evening is ‘ ‘ Second Best Bed ’ ’ by the Featherston Junior Drama Circle. On Wednesday evening the performance will begin with “Potci -nd the Clock” by the Playbox Players, Miss Betty Coieman’s pupils. On Thursday evening Iladlow Preparatory School, under Mr G. McConnell,, will present “Forget-me-not.” These three children’s plays are creating very great interest. The Wairarapa High School, playing ‘ ‘ Tails Up ’ ’ by Cyril Roberts, has entered in the senior- section. The Phoenix Drama Club Avill be seen again this year, their choice being “The Green Monkey. ”
