FERRIER DEFEATED.
IN EXHIBITION ROUND,

Locke defeated Perrier in an exhibition round at the Royal Automobile Club course at Epsom, 73/76, medal conditions, and 2/1, match play. Heavy rain prevented good scoring, although both played well against a standard scratch score of 75. MAHUNGA CLUB. The following are the best cards returned for-a medal round played by members of the above club on Saturday last:— LADIES. Miss McKenna 75, Mrs L. During the week-end a team representing the Mahunga Golf Club played against the members of tho Martinborough Golf Club on the Martinborough links. In a fourball match the honours were even, but in tho singles, play Mahunga won by 11 games to 5.
