ROAD RACE TRAGEDY
TWO WOMEN KILLED. ROME, Monday. A Bresica message states'that tragedy marred Italy’s thousand miles road race from Bresica to Rome and back—one of the most strenuous in the world, including mountain passes. The Italian Pintoenti won, averaging 71.75 miles an hour.
One competitor crashed into a crowd, killing two women.
