KING'S GOLD PLATE
DISPLAY AT JUBILEE.

The “Sunday Dispatch” says His Majesty’s collection of gold plate, including the famous dinner service, is now, owing to the increased price of gold, worth £3,375,000. It will not be used for the Jubilee State‘dinner. It has not been used on similar occasions for some time, owing to its value, but will be displayed in a banquet hall as a decoration, the guests dining from chjna plates.
