CONCILIATION MOVE. STRESA, Saturday. Italy and Abyssinia have agreed to submit their dispute to a committee for conciliation. CONSCRIPTION ADOPTED. ADDIS ABABBA, Saturday.
The Emperor, in a speech from the throno proroguing Parliament, announced the adoption of a conscription organisation for tho whole population, male and female, for war. Everybody would bo taxed for the equipment of the army. Ho added that tho futuro penalty for treason would be death. According to Abyssinia’s ancient law books traitors could bo burned alive.
