FATAL RIOT
THIRTEEN PERSONS KILLED.
(Received Monday, 10.5 a.m.) LONDON, Sunday.
Tho “Times” Delhi correspondent says 13 persons were killed and 42 injured in a riot at Ferozabad, after Hindus had stoned miniature tombs of Moslem martyrs, carried in a Moliurnim festival. Tho house from which tho stones are believed to liavo been thrown was set on fire and eleven Hindu inmates incinerated.
The police fire<l thirty rounds to quell the disturbance, killing one and wounding seven. A communal clash at Botad Tosultod in six persons being killed and 20 injured.— ‘ ‘ Times. ’ ’
