WEDDING
♦ v -/“ BEALS—ADAMS. A pretty wedding took place at the Methodist Church on 11th April, when Miss Olive Agnes Adams, fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs R. S. Adams, 55 Villa Street, was married to Mr John Augustine Beals, second son of Mr and Mrs W. *G. Beals, Hessey Street, Mastort bn. The Rev. G. F. Stockwell officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a white satin beaute frock, made on princess lines. Her veil of embroidered net was worn over the face and held in place by a circlet of orange blossom. She also carried a sheaf of white and pale pink flowers. The bridesmaids, Miss Marjorie Adams, chief, and Miss Dorothy Adams, both sisters of the bride, wore lemon floral taffeta frocks relieved with red velvet sashes and shoes and bandeaux of flowers to tone with the shower bouquets. Mr Fred DaviesAtfid Mr Tom Bertram carried out**e duties of best man and groomsman respectively. A reception was held at the Orange Hall where the bride’s mother, in a black and white frock, received about 60 guests. A pleasing feature of the party was the presence of the bride’s grandmother, who is in her 85th year.
Mr and Mrs J. Beals left for the south, the bride travelling in a beige and brown ensemble.
