EXHIBITION OF PICTURES

Sponsored by the Masterton Sketch Club Mrs Pullione-Spencer will hold an exhibition of her work in the Sketch Club Hall on Tuesday and Wednesday next. The people of Masterton have not often had the chance of attending such a large “one man show Mrs Spencer, or H. H. Pulliene, to trive her the name by which she is known in artistic circles, is a South Australian by birth, but has spent a great many years in New Zealand, where the greater part of her work has been done—particularly round Taupo and the Waikato River districts. All her work is strong and broad and the subjects are artistically chosen and pleasing to the eye. In the Commonwealth the artist held several exhibitions. The exhibition will open in the club studio, Bannister Street, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday next, and there will be no charge for admission.
