Wang Cliing Wei expressed the opinion to pressmen that China was willing for a closer economic co-operation with Japan, based upon the full mutual benefit of equality and the mutual removal of impediments to good relations, but said at present it was somewhat premature to got concrete results. He added: “Japan and China are sisters. If we prolong the struggle we will lie the world’s stock. Asiatics must control the affairs of Asia.”
