BRADBURY CUP. 1

The Masterton Road Cycling Club held a contest on Saturday for the Bradbury Cup. There were 26 competitors, including twelve cyclists from Wellington. At the turn the first were the 9mrn. markers, followed by G. Orr, Nattrass and McGuerk off 6min. These riders had gained lmin. on the limit men. Then came the 4min. markers who had gained two minutes on the limit riders, closely followed by the 21min. men comprising Arlidge, Osborne and Wilson. At this point these riders looked like going through the field, but on the homeward journey they were feeling the effects of the ride. G. Pye and Wilson soon caught their front markers, when G. Tinkler scratch lost his co-marker, G. Morris, who met with an accident, leaving Tinkler to clock in some 40 seconds better than the lmin markers. G. Orr and Me-
