TRIPLE SHOOTING

QUEENSLAND TRAGEDY.

BRISBANE, Wednesday

A triple shooting tragedy occurred at the home of James Bushby, at Anamoor, in the Gympie district. The victims Aveer Mrs Olive Bushby, Avife of James Bushby; Phyllis Bushby, 17, their daughter; and Ivan James, -5, a labourer, formerly employed by Bushby, but recently dismissed.

The body of Mrs Bushby Avas found in the yard, Avitli a bullet in the temple, and the bodies of Phyllis Bushby and Ivan James Avere found lying together in the dining room. Both had bullet Avounds in the forehead. A rifle lay nearby. James’s attentions to Phyllis had been discouraged by the parents, and he had been forbidden to visit the home.
