SERVICE CAR LICENSE
DECISION RESERVED. WELLINGTON, Wednesday. Decision AA r as reserved by the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) in the Wellington Supreme Court yesterday, after he heard further legal argument in the action in Avhich two service car companies applied to have quashed the renewal of a license granted by the Central Licensing Authority to a third concern. NoAvman Bros., Ltd., Nelson, and Jenkins’ Motor Services, Ltd., Masterton, acting as independent plaintiffs, applied for Avrits of certiorari and m andamus against Mr J. A. C. Alluin in his capacity as Central Licensing Authority. On Bth June last Mr Allum granted a rencAval of a license to S.O.S. Motors, Ltd. (in liquidation), and the action Avas to have the license cancelled. The plaintiff companies applied at the same time for the license renerved to S.O.S. Motors, but their applications Avere refused. —(P.A.)
