LANDING REFUSED
PASSENGERS FROM SYDNEY. AUCKLAND. Wednesday. When the Wanganella from Sydney berthed to-day, the police interviewed three second-class passengers. As a result they Avere not alloived to land, this action being taken under a clause in the Immigration Act. The men Avere locked in a room in the ship’s false funnel, and Avill remain there till the Wanganella sails tomorroAv. —(P.A.)
