FOOTBALL
HIGH SCHOOLS’ FIXTURE. A Rugby match is to be played tomorrow afternoon between the first fifteens of the Napier High School and the Wairarapa High School. The Napier boys have a reputation for playing an open fast game, and as the local boys are at present at the top of their form, a first class game of Rugby should be witnessed. The match will be played at the High School grounds, and will commence at 2.45 p.m. All parents and friends are invited to be present. A curtain-raiser between teams from the Wellington Technical School and the Masterton Technical School will be played commencing at 1.30 p.m. The teams are as follow: —
Napier Boys’ High School. —Palmer (eapt.), Dick (Auce-eapt.), Morrissey, Frazer, Wolstenholme, Holt, McNiven, Bennett, Hammond, Younghusband, PoAvdrell, Scoble, Sherning, Smith, Dalzell, Armitage, Broughton, Carey. Wairarapa High School. —O’Callaghan, Peterson (capt.), Eastivood, McPherson, Taylor, Hatton, Denbee, Donelly, O’Connor (vice-capt.), Beetham, Aylward, McWhinnie, Lawrence, Monro, Long, Ihaka, Reid, Parsonson.
