HARRIERS
KIATERE CLUB. CHAMPIONSHIP RUNS. On Saturday next the Kiatere Harrier Club will decide their senior and junior club championships from the Solway Showgrounds, starting at. 2.30 sharp. In the senior event, which will be over a course of 6J miles, in two laps, S. L. Rutherfurd (holder) will be hojBT challenged by W. McDonald and J.,*P and W. Burns, with several others not far behind. In the juniors, over 3 1-8 miles, J, Laing will have to go hard to defend his title from A. McDonald and B. Patrick. As both these races should be well worth watching, all supporters, parents and friends are urged to come along.
