MASTERTON CLUB. PROGRESS OF PAIRS TOURNEY. The Masterton Indoor Bowling Club continued its pairs tournament this week when G. R. Russell and W. Hendry (s) beat A. Garstens and J. G. Shearer (s), 19 to 13; W. Drummond and A. Watson (s) beat T. Ihaka and C. A. Leigh (s) 18 to 13; E. Reeves and P. Buckley (s) beat G. Jackson and G. L. Scrivener (s) 1J to 9; A. Williams and W. L. Sharman (s) beat T. Ihaka and C. A. Leigh (s) 20 to 17. The final of the pairs tournament will be played on Wednesday, 23rd August, when at 7 p.tti. A. Williams and W. L. Sharman (s*) will play W. Drum- . mond and A. Watson (s). The winners of this game will play R. Simpson and y A. W. Chapman for the medals at 8 A p.m. 1 v SINGLES TOURNAMENT.'
