Neither money nor time has been spaired to make the present production of “Cinderella” the best -and most attractive pantomime ever staged in New Zealand. Mr Syd Beck, an excellent comedian, portrays the character of the Dame and Miss Josie Melville has been specially engaged for the role Cinderella. In addition to other notable principals the five amazing de-V----eres, whirlwind acrobats and the New Big Four are features of this production.

There is not a weak spot in the company, all the members of which work as a team under an inspiring leader. S3 r d Beck is again an outstanding artist and the cast includes Miriam Lester, Billy Maloney, Maida Jones, Maggie Buckley, Murray and Walton and Maurice Diamond’s team of Australian dancers, while Jack Spooner’s Savoy jazz band also enlivens the proceedings.
