SCHOOL BURNED
BAY OF PLENTY FIRE. WIIAKATANE, Tuesday. The AAvakerei School Avas totally destroyed by fire early this morning. When the fire was discovered 1 by the headmaster, Mr Osborne, the roof and ceiling AA-ere in flames. The blaze quickly spread, and Avitliin an hour the building Avas completely burned. • The school, Avliicli Avas recently enlarged, comprised three classrooms and a teachers’ room. —(P.A.)
