SWINE FEVER
FULL COMPENSATION. That owners of pigs will more readily report any suspected cases; of r&wine fever if they are assured of liberal compensation in the event of destruction being ordered, is the belief of the Department of Agriculture. It is stated that . compensation _ will be paid to the full value of the animals killed. There will also be Government co'mpensation in respect of sties ordered to be destroyed on infected farms.
