Twenty-two Nazi leaders have been arrested, and the Brown House at Duns-bruc-k (dosed, following upon an attempt to shoot Cr. Sidle, leader of the Tyrol Reimwelir, who was wounded in an arm. The ex-Minister of Education, Dr. Rintelen, also narrowly escaped when his car crossed a plank, exploding a tube filled with dynamite. Among other outrages was a bomb attack on a jeweller's shop, in which two persons were killed and eight wounded. The Jewish owner tried to pick up the bomb and throw it out of his shop, but it exploded in his hands, killing him. If the terror continues, the Dolfuss Government propose to proclaim martial law and disband the whole Nazi party.
