MOTOR CYCLE RACING

TOURIST TROPHY CONTEST. (Received Tuesday, 5.50 a.m.) LONDON, Monday. Stanl-ev Woods, riding a Norton, won the Junior Tourist Trophy with an average speed of 78.08 miles an hour. Hunt (Norton) was second, and Guthrie (Norton) third. Wood also broke the lap record, covering the sixth lap at an average speed of 79.22 miles. Moses (New Zealand) finished sixteenth. Twenty-seven competitors started. The race was held -at the Isle of Man over a 264 miles hilly and twisting course. Woods also won the trophy last year.
