FELT IN CALIFORNIA. LOS ANGELES, Tuesday. The fortieth shock was felt at 11.1 this morning, knocking bricks from weakened structures. A strong earthquake was felt at 9.40 p.m. It was of the same intensity as other major shocks during the past two days. It was the second shock to-night. THE FORTY-THIRD SHOCK. (Received Thursday, 5.35 a.m.) LOS ANGELES, Wednesday. The forty-third shock occurred at 3.14 a.m. to-day.
