CANTERBURY EXPERIMENTS

CHRISTCIIURCII, Wednesday

On average land there is no deficiency of iodine for sheep, and extra treatment does not bring better results, according to a report presented to tlie Board 1 of Governors of the Canterbury Agricultural College, Lincoln, on experiments with sheep affected with g'oitre. The experiments, which have been conducted by the college on what .is known as the ‘‘iodine” farm during the last four years, will be completed a,t the end of this month, and will not be continued. The complete report will be issued through the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research.—(P.A.)
