CARTERTON SALE. F.C.D. COMPANY, LTD. The New Zealand Farmers’ Co-opera-tive Distributing Co., Ltd., report on their usual weekly sale, held at Carterton yesterday, as follows: —Our entry consisted of 400 sheep, which met with keen competition from ai good attendance of buyers. We had a total clearance at auction at the following prices:—

Sheep.—Medium b.f. lambs, 7s to 7s 3d; small do., 4s 6cl to 5s 2d; medium w.f. lambs, 6s Id, 6s 6d to 6s 8d; small do., '3s 6d to 3s 9d; small ewe lambs, 6s 6d to 6s 8d; 4 and 6-tooth ewes, 8s 9d; fat and' forward ewes, 5s 6d; fattening ewes, 3s 6d.

WEIGHT, STEPHEXSOX & CO., LTD. 'We held our weekly sale at Carterton yesterday, when a fair entry of all classes of stock was offered to a bigattendance. The sheep entry, which was comprised of lambs, met with a very good sale. The demand for cull lambs was particularly good, and the better class lambs sold about last week’s Masterton values. Cattle showed a rise on the previous week. Pigs were in demand and made good l values. We made a total clearance as under: — Rape lambs, 9s 2d; shorn w.f. lambs (good), 6s 6d to 7s; woolly w.f. lambs, 8s 9d; shorn b.f. lambs, 6s to 7s 6d; b.f. lambs (medium), 5s to 6s; shorn w.f. lambs (medium), 4s 6d to 5s 6d; small shorn w.f. lambs, 3s to 4s; springing heifers, £4 to £4 7s 6d; fat cows, £2 to £2 ss; forward cows, 20s to 30s; cull cows, 12s 6d to 15s; bullocks, £2 ss; heifers, r.w.b., 225; Jersey bull, £2 ss; fat heifer, £2 ss; weaner pigs, 7s 6d to 11s; slips, 12s to 13s 6d; porkers (light), ISs to 21s; porkers (heavy), 25s to 295.

FEILDING SALE. FEILIDIXG, Friday. Fat lambs and rape lambs found an excellent market at the stock sale today, with good yardings of high quality. Fat lambs advanced 6d a head. Fat lambs: Primest, 13s i6d; prime, 12s 7d to 13s Id; good, lls 8d to 11s 9d; medium, from 9s; fat 2-tooths, primest, 12s 9d to 13s; prime, lls 8d to 12s 7d; good, lls Id. Fat ewes: Heavy prime, 6s 5d to 6s 6d; medium quality, 6s to 6s 2d. Fat wethers to 12s 9d. *

Stores.—A heavy yarding of rape lambs, which met a good demand. Black-face lambs, good condition, made 10s 2d to 10s 3d; fab-, 9s 2d to 9s lOd; backward, from 8s -6d; culls, 2s 5d to 7s 3d; 2-tooth wethers, good, 9s lid; others, 7s lid to 'Bs Id; 2-tooth ewes, good, 13s 2d to 13s 3d; fair 9s 9d; old culls, 3s 2d to 4s.

There was a small yarding of dairy cattle. Springing cows made £3 10s to £4 2s 6d; cows in milk, £3 2s 6d. A fair yarding of fa,t cattle met a dull sale.
