The next race meeting of the Wairarapa Trotting Club will probably be held at Hutt Park. At the last meeting of the club a committee was appointed to wait upon the officials) of the Wellington Trotting Club to ascertain whether, if circumstances warranted it, the Wairarapa club could hold its March meeting on the Wellington track. The committee visited Wellington this week and, it is understood, came ’to an arrangement with the Wellington club. The Wellington Trotting Club, it is reported, has agreed to draw up a programme, and this, when confirmed, will be run off by tho Wairarapa club. A definite reply and acceptance of arrangements will probably be received from Wellington within the next week.
