Boddington reports that 17 points of rain were registered at Solway for the 24 hours up till 9 o’clock yesterday morning, and to-day 106 points. TO-DAY’S FORECAST. The indications are for variable and strong breezes, with south-easterly moderate to strong winds pre\ ailing, w later again freshening. Expect ; dull weather with much mist and fog in parts. Rain is probable, chiefly affecting the east coast, and in places heavy rain is to bo expected. The barometer is unsteady, but shortly the barometer will rise.
