In behalf of the Australian and'New Zealand Butter Boards, Mr Boyce, M.P., has sent a letter to Mr J. H. Thomas, outlining the butter position and stating that Continental embargoes and restrictions outweighed the benefits of Britain’s 10 per cent protective duty, resulting in enormous quantities being diverted to the British market, thus depressing prices.
