TRUST ELECTION
SIXTH CANDIDATE APPEARS. A sixth candidate in Mr P. M. Smith has appeared in the field to contest the Trust Lands Trust election. His nomination Avas received by the returning officer this morning. Mr Smith’s nominators are Messrs. B. I\ T eson and R. Krahagen. Nominations close at noon to-morrow but it is not anticipated that further nominations will be received.
