TOPIC FOR OTTAWA CONFERENCE RUGBY, Thursday. Major Colville, Secretary to the Overseas Trade Department, replying to a question in the House of Commons as to whether in view of the recent preferences given to Indian tea any steps were being taken to obtain from India a corresponding preference for Lancashire cotton goods, said that the question of varied treatment of United Kingdom goods on importation into India would be discussed at the Ottawa Conference.
