The story is that of the world’s richest woman, who found she could buy anything and everything but love.- This eventful history of young love’s trials when the lovers are surrounded by tons of money is said to provide an hour -of hilarious joy and merriment. While revelling in the humours of the picture, onlookers will learn no longer to envy the children of the rich. “Mother’s Millions” is declared to be one of the finest comedy dramas of the year, providing in generous measure laughs, thrills, romance and drama. The noted comedienne, May Robson, has the leading role. Seats may be reserved at Vare’s, ’phone 1333. COSY THEATRE. “BOUGHT.” “Bought” is to be shown finally at the Cosy Theatre this evening. Reserves at Yare’s, ’phone 1333. “LOVE LIES.” A riot of fun is promised in “Love Lies,” which is to open at the Cosy Theatre to-morrow, when it will be shown at matinee and evening performances. The leading joy-producer is Stanley Lupino. In the part of Jerry Walker, he is forced into giving a long string of impersonations, 'both varied and hilarious. He impersonates matadors, picadors and toreadors, but when he 'finally escapes from the bullring still another impersonation awaits him. He finds himself involved in much more serious trouble, since he is a confirmed misogynist, with a Spanish beauty who has been admiring his feats of derring-do.
