MOTOR FATALITY
ALLEGED NEGLIGENT DRIVING. DRIVER COMMITTED. , HAWERA, Tliis Day. Following lengthy Lower Court proceedings, Alfred George Walker was committed for trial by Justices of tho Peace yesterday on a charge of negligent driving, thereby causing the death of a passenger, Norman McLeod. Walker was the driver of a car which collided rvith a poAver pole a mile out from Haivera on the evening of 22nd March. The car somersaulted, McLeod being killed instantly—(P.A.)
