KILLED AT PRAYER
BY SOVIET CAVALRY VILLAGERS MASSACRED. Press Association Electric Telegraph—Copyright VIENNA, Tuesday. While kneeling and chanting psalms on the bank of tho Dneister, 100 villagers at Nubasari were massacred by a squadron of Soviet cavalry. Eye-witnesses on the Rumanian, shore saw the peasants slashed with sabres and fired on with machine-guns till the bank was strewn with dead and dying.
