SYDNEY SALES. ■SYDNEY, Monday. At the avool sales to-day, 10,716 bales were offered, of which 8508 were sold at auction; also 1033’ privately. Competition Avas good for all better class AA-ools at last Aveek’s levels, but there Avas some irregularity in short burry lines. Greasy Merino made up to 12-ld. The average price of the wool sold at last week’s auctions Avas £8 16s 2d per bale, or 7.1 d per pound, as compared with £9 11s per bale, and 7.7 d per lb, for the previous Aveek. The Ncav South Wales Woolbrokers’ Association has decided that Avarchousing charges for avool for tho coming season, commencing on Ist July, shall bo reduced by 10 per cent in order to render practical assistance to avoolgroAvers in the present difficult times.
