WIN ON A FOUL. SYDNEY, Monday. At the Leicliardt Stadium, in a contest for the middloAveight championship and Lord Beauchamp’s Belt, Fred Ilanncbery, 11.3, retained the title on a foul in the tenth round against Bob Thornton, 11.2. The contest Avas uninspiring, Thornton holding his OAvn very Avell in spasmodic clashes. It Avill be recalled that Hanneberry Avon the championship from Ambrose Palmer in the same manner. The crowd to-night Avas not at all satisfied that lie was fouled, and indulged in vigorous hooting. The State light-weight championship Avas also decided, Bluey Jones outpointing Billy Kelso in a ten-round contest.
