CIIRISTCHURCII, Tuesday

At the annual meeting of the Canterbury Rugby Union to-night, it was decided, after considerable discussion, that a recommendation by the . New Zealand Rugby Union that all affiliated Unions should adopt the three scrum formation and abolish the wing forward position, be adopted by tlic Canteibuij Rugby Union. Another resolution was that a piotest be made to the New Zealand Union against the continued interchange of visits with New South Wales, which took away the best players from New Zealand in alternate years.—(P.A.)
