The long wait and uncertainty are beginning to tell on Mrs Lindbergh. A message from Trenton, New Jersey, states, that Colonel H. Norman Scliwartzkopf, Superintendent of the State Police, issued the following statement to newspapermen on Wednesday:—“Such facts as will not interfere with the progress of the ease will be given out by means of regular questionnaires. Matters pertaining to the private affairs, habits and health of the Lindbergh family will not be given out. Any private negotiations they may be carrying on are strictly personal with the Lindbergh family. We will not give out any information concerning them. ■ The condition of health of Mrs Anne Lindbergh is such that we cannot interfere with such matters.”
