N.S.W. CHAMPIONSHIPS. NEW RECORDS MADE. SYDNEY, Sunday. At the State swimming championships in the Domain Baths in Sydney, the 440 vards championship resulted:— A. Charlton 1, N. Ryan 2, V. Besomo 3. Time, 4.55 2-s—a. State and Australian record. Ryan made a wonderful effort and was only beaten by two feet. The 100 yards championship resulted: —C. Phillips 1, A. Hill 2, H. ILall 3. Time, 56 4-ssee. —a State and Australian record.
The spring board diving champion ship resulted: —A. O’Connor 1, C. Bar rass 2, 11. Tickle 3.
